Strategy, oversight and executive accountability. Fractional CMO is our primary marketing leadership engagement.
EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP + ALL FIVE ENGINES
Leadership above the day-to-day.
Executive marketing leadership. Without another executive salary. Strategy, planning and performance accountability, with all five Growth Engines operated by Dappr.
Consulting is most useful when the decision, its owner and its operational consequence are clear.
Define the leadership gap
A business may need strategic direction, help coordinating teams or a clearer way to evaluate performance. Those needs are different from purchasing a single deliverable. The first step is to establish which decisions lack ownership or sufficient context.
A consulting brief should identify the business objective, participating leaders and the authority of the engagement. Recommendations are more useful when the people responsible for implementing them are part of the process.
Separate advice from operating capacity
Some engagements focus on diagnosis and recommendations. Others require ongoing coordination and responsibility for delivery. The distinction affects scope, meeting cadence and the information the consultant needs.
Dappr’s Fractional CMO plan combines executive marketing leadership with all five Growth Engines. Other retained leadership disciplines have separately confirmed availability and scope. They should not be assumed to include marketing production or services outside the agreed engagement.
Create a shared decision framework
Leadership work should clarify priorities and the evidence needed to assess them. That can include defining goals, reviewing constraints and identifying which questions need more information before a decision is made.
The resulting roadmap should name owners and dependencies. It should also distinguish recommendations that can be implemented now from those requiring budget, hiring, technical work or additional specialist input.
Review the effects of decisions
A leadership review connects the plan to what happened in the business. It should explain material changes, unresolved risks and which decisions require attention. That is more useful than collecting status updates without consequences.
The review cadence and reporting format are agreed for the engagement. Targets depend on the business model and available information. Leadership is accountable for clear thinking and defined work, while outcomes also depend on implementation and market conditions.
